Midgraph is an annual workshop on computer graphics and applications for the mid-west region and will be hosted this year by the Media and Machines lab at the Washington University in St. Louis. The workshop is held for the following purpose:
| • | To give students (both graduate and undergraduate) a chance to present their research ideas to other students and faculty in an informal setting |
| • | To share suggestions and ideas on everyone's work, early drafts of papers, and presentations |
| • | To improve our acceptance chances at SIGGRAPH and other top-quality publication venues |
| • | To build and foster a Midwestern computer graphics community |
